On campus

Tippie College of Business’s on-campus presence spans multiple buildings with state-of-the-art technology, amenities, and classroom space to accommodate the college’s growing student population. This includes the largest academic building on campus with one of the largest computer labs on campus, which is reserved for business students during certain hours of the day. These facilities are the result of a lot of hard work, planning, and key financial support from our alumni.

Pappajohn Business Building (PBB)

With more than 187,000 SF, the Pappajohn Business Building, built in 1994, is the largest academic building on campus. The building includes the second-largest computer lab on campus, group and quiet study areas, conference rooms, laptop bars, and its own diner and coffee shop. Business students have preferential access to the computer lab from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Off-campus

Our commitment to serving the needs of students, working professionals, and businesses extends beyond Iowa City. Two physical locations off-campus help us achieve that goal.

Evacuation chair in PBB

We have an evacuation chair in the south stairwell outside of S401. This chair makes it possible to evacuate someone with mobility difficulties down several flights of stairs in the event of an emergency. You can review the instructions, which are also posted next to the chair, or groups can request a demonstration.

To request a demonstration, please contact Rick Adrian (rick-adrian@uiowa.edu).
