About us
Tippie Students for Service is a service organization located within the Tippie College of Business. We host a variety of service events throughout the Iowa City community by partnering with student organizations to spread positivity! We value making an impact by providing our time to service projects we have a passion for. Best of all, we accept all majors.
How to join
Tippie Students for Service hold meetings twice a month. Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned volunteering veteran, you are more than welcome to attend any event we have throughout the year. Contact us for information about our next event.
Ronald McDonald House
In our monthly visit with the kiddos at the Ronald McDonald house, we cook, clean or host a night event like Bingo, so they can feel comfortable in their home away from home.
TSS socials
In addition to service opportunities, Tippie Students for Service hold several social events per semester. It's a way for members to relax and have a chance to get to know each other outside of our volunteering visits.
Shelter House
We volunteer locally at the Shelter House, organizing their stock room, at BBQ events, or on-campus making tie blankets. One of our favorite events is trick-or-treating for canned goods on Halloween, where we donate all proceeds to the Shelter!
