    • Event Description: The Building Community Connections Conference is our event formerly known as Non-Profit Training Day. This award-winning event is for professionals from non-profit organizations and the public and private sectors, as well as community volunteers.  It's a way to invest in yourself by enjoying an informative, fun, and energizing day of networking and learning.
  • Thursday, May 2 from 5:30 - 8:30 pm (in-person): Corridor Business Journal (CBJ) Women of Influence
    • Event Description: Join the Corridor Business Journal as we celebrate the 20th annual Women of Influence with a gala awards ceremony! The Women of Influence awards recognize 10 women who have made a difference in the Corridor as role models and leaders in their fields and community and one Emerging Woman of Influence, poised to take on a larger community-wide role in the years to come.

    • Event Description: Out to Lunch is a free event that is open to the public, designed with the goal of creating a unique and fun opportunity for Downtown Des Moines (DSM) employees, residents and visitors to socialize with others in a vibrant, outdoor Downtown DSM setting with local food trucks and live music on select days throughout the summer.

    • Event Description: Jessica Holsey, Managing Director on GCM Grosvenor’s Private Equity Investment team, will give an overview of the firm’s history investing with diverse managers. During this conversation, Ms. Holsey will provide commentary on the evolution of the diverse manager market opportunity and talk about how to incorporate diverse manager investments into a portfolio.

    • Event Description: Join the Des Moines Downtown Chamber of Commerce for a night at the ballpark with the Iowa Cubs.

    • Event Description: Project515 is a series of real estate- and development-focused virtual events that dive deep into three specific subsections of the industry: office, retail and housing. The series goal is to illuminate future challenges and trends, while amplifying discussions with the region’s key stakeholders who do business directly in the sectors and with those business leaders dependent on the health and vitality of the real estate industry for a strong and growing community.     • Event Description: Many clinicians, therapists, researchers and business leaders are turning to artificially intelligent tools to meet the growing needs for mental health care. But mental health is complex-and intrinsically human. Can technology really help in a safe and reliable way?
