  • Thursday, February 20 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. (in-person): Delta Dental's The Green Room - Meet with Success: Evidence-Based Ways to Create an Effective, Engaging, and Inclusive Meeting
    • Event Description: American employees attend approximately 55 million meetings a day. While some professionals think of meetings as draining, well-conducted meetings can be places of personal and team gain.

      Join Delta Dental of Iowa for its first in-person Green Room, "Meet With Success: Evidence-Based Ways to Create Effective, Engaging, and Inclusive Meetings."

      This session of the Green Room offers a conversation hosted by April Schmaltz, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Iowa and her guest, Steven Rogelberg, Ph.D., an organizational psychologist and nationally-renown expert in implementing strategies to improve meetings.

      Attendees at this free, in-person event will access Rogelberg's evidence-based practices to make meetings effective, engaging, and inclusive.

    • Event Description: Do you wonder if you are keeping up with the changes in Gen AI? Do you know what you should be focused on to keep your career moving forward?

      If you are curious about what you can do in 2025 and beyond to keep your analytics skills up to date and current, come join our discussion with the DSM Data & Analytics Board members and representatives from the top universities in our state, including Jen Blackhurst, Leonard A. Hadley Chair in Leadership, Associate Dean for Graduate Professional Programs, and Professor at the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business.

  • Wednesday, April 16 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. (in-person): Young Professional Connection Causes & Connections
    • Event Description: Have you ever wondered, "How does donating my time or dollars make a difference?" or "I want to volunteer, but I'm not sure where?" This is the event for you!

      YPC & YNPN are proud to partner again to bring Causes & Connections to young professionals in our community! Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about what it means to donate their time, talent, or treasure to nonprofit organizations and important community issues. Participants will also have the opportunity to network and participate in an activity focused on making community impact! Food will be provided.
