    • Event Description: Connect over coffee and tune into a tech discussion with a local Iowa tech leader. Each interview covers the lead origin story, career milestones, key initiatives, and fun facts.
  • Wednesday, February 18 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. CT (virtual): Delta Dental's The Green Room - Leading the Next Generation: How Gen Z Thinks, Works, and Connects
    • Event Description: Join April Schmaltz from Delta Dental of Iowa and her guest, Dr. Nikki Harken, author and University of Northern Iowa professor, for the next Delta Dental of Iowa Green Room: "Leading the Next Generation: How Gen Z Thinks, Works, and Connects."

      Together, they will discuss how to: Understand Gen Z values and how leaders and organizations can respond; engage all generations of your organization for better collaboration, communication and results; strengthen culture by prioritizing overall health and wellbeing; and future-proof your organization by developing high-performing employees from Day 1.

    • Event Description:  Enjoy breakfast, network with others and learn from a discussion/presentation, "Workplace Personalities, Working Better Together."

  • Tuesday, February 24 from 5:00–6:00 p.m. (in person): Des Moines Young Professionals Connection Money Moves with Danielle Converse
    • Event Description: Join us for an engaging session on building long-term financial confidence across your 20s, 30s, and 40s.

      The event will begin with a brief welcome, followed by Danielle’s session, a dedicated Q&A, and optional networking afterward.

    • Event Description: This event will gather industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and Drake University alumni to discuss how modern organizations can drive positive social impact and be a force for good. The event is free to attend and registration is required.

      The summit offers a deep dive into how ethical leadership and socially responsible strategies can be integrated into everyday business operations. Attendees can expect a mix of storytelling and tactical advice, ranging from how early-stage founders embed sustainability into their growth models to how global corporations align their missions with personal values.
