  • Thursday, January 15 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. (in-person): Corridor Business Journal Economic Forecast Luncheon
    • Event Details: The CBJ’s largest event of the year, the Economic Forecast Luncheon, features a keynote speaker and panel of local business leaders who will provide insight into where the economy is heading and the biggest opportunities and challenges facing their industries and the region.

  • Thursday, January 8 from 4:30–7:00 p.m. (in-person): Business Record 2026 Book of Lists Unveiling
    • Event Description: This is the first MUST attend event of the new year and you don't want to miss it. Make sure to start your year off in a meaningful way by networking with the region’s top leaders and influencers.

      Be one of the first in Central Iowa to receive a copy of the new Book of Lists, the definitive resource guide for business professionals in the Central Iowa area. Plus find out who our readers selected as the Most Influential Business Leader and the Most Influential Nonprofit. The annual publication contains listings of businesses across 70-plus industries, a community calendar, market research and more. All entrances are accessible and seating will be available. The event is free and open to the public with RSVP.
