Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) is the only international business fraternity with a mission to spark interest for students in insurance, risk management, and actuarial science industries. How to join
Recruitment is an ongoing process for Gamma Iota Sigma. All students interested in risk management and insurance are strongly encouraged to join. Just attend our next meeting with a completed membership form (docx). Contact us for information about meetings and membership forms.
Outstanding awards
GIS has recently received awards for: outstanding alumni relations, chapter management, and public relations. We have also been recognized at the International GIS Conference with the Best Kept Secret Award. This award identifies a chapter whose consistent growth does not necessarily receive the publicity it deserves. We want your growth to match up with that of our great organization.
