Story Lab starts with a kickoff workshop — offered four times (just pick one!) — where you'll learn the skills needed to craft stories and share them in a compelling way. We'll also explore how storytelling is a foundational leadership skill in both work and life. The workshop will be a mix of engaging instruction and storytelling activities along with FREE food and drinks. Story Lab is open to all Tippie undergrads, on-campus masters, and PhD students as well as Tippie faculty and staff.

For those interested in continuing to work on stories and public speaking beyond the workshop, we'll also have story coaching available in October to develop stories for our end-of-semester story showcase at MERGE in downtown Iowa City on Nov. 8.
