Meg Biznek

Meg is a Senior studying Marketing with a minor in Art. She transformed her college experience by studying abroad through the semester-long CIMBA Italy program in Paderno del Grappa, Italy. Her experience leading her group in exercises for the Leadership Initiative for Excellence program allowed her to establish her style of relationship building and team organization while at the University of Iowa. She applied this leadership and communication in several roles on campus as Vice President of Communications for the professional development organization Phi Gamma Nu and her job at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, creating marketing for Iowa’s first-ever Nurse-Midwifery Education Program. She also works with small companies and non-profits through Marketing Institute, a consulting program of top marketing students. Her most meaningful experience on campus was becoming a Direct Admit Peer Mentor, in which she used her experience with disability advocation to help first-year students gain their footing at Tippie. She is extremely grateful to those who encouraged her to become involved as she expanded her knowledge within her Tippie Community and abroad.

Gustavo Campos

Gustavo Campos

Gustavo is a senior majoring in Finance and graduating with University Honors. He was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil and moved to the US for college. He is a brother at Alpha Kappa Psi, scholar at the Hawkinson Institute, and currently work as a Tippie Learning Coach for Microeconomics. During the pandemic, worked as a consultant in the African Business Innovation Internship, provided by the Institute of International Business in partnership with a UI Mandela Washington Fellow. The Hawkinson institute helped Gustavo advance his career goals in Investment Banking. Last summer, he rotated across eight Sales and Trading desks across a variety of Fixed Income products at Jefferies Financial Group, an Investment Bank in New York. After graduation, Gustavo will be starting full-time at their Emerging Markets desk in London, covering Sovereign and Corporate Bonds.

Karter Donahue

Karter Donahue

Karter will be graduating in May 2022 with a BBA in Business Analytics. Throughout his time at the University of Iowa, he has gathered a diverse set of experiences both inside and outside of the Tippie College of Business. Some highlights of his experience include serving as the Analytics Chair for University of Iowa Dance Marathon, VP of Technology for Tippie Senate, a Tippie Peer Mentor, and working as a Data Management and Analysis Intern for the UI Department of Academic Support & Retention. Karter has also been a member of Delta Sigma Pi and Business Student Ambassador Organization in his time in Tippie. Karter has made it a priority to lead with integrity and inclusivity in each of his leadership roles which led him to be recognized with the Tippie Inclusive Leadership Award in 2021. After graduation, Karter will be moving to Boston to work for Wayfair on their People Analytics team.

Yi Duan

Yi Duan

Yi is a senior studying Finance. She is graduating in May 2022 as an Honor student with distinction. While at the University of Iowa, she is passionate about advocating for student organizations and global engagement. She is the Global Ambassador for the Tippie Buddies organization and an advisory board member of the Greater China Business Association (GCBA). She is committed to connecting international and local students to foster a multicultural environment in Tippie. She has won an international scholarship and been on the dean’s list multiple times. She is a member of the Honor program and Tippie Honor society. Last summer, she volunteered for the Tippie Enterprise Research team, contributing to the Tippie academia. Yi is looking forward to graduating with Tippie spirit and continuously providing a sense of inclusion and comprehension.

Maggie Dunham

Maggie Dunham

Maggie is a senior studying accounting and finance with a Spanish minor. She currently serves as President of the Multicultural Business Student Association, a student organization she has been a member of since her first semester at the University of Iowa. Additionally, she is Head Tutor at the Frank Business Communication Center, Treasurer of the Spanish Club, and a member of Tippie Business Honor Society and Beta Alpha Psi. During her college career, Maggie was a lean-in circle leader for 3 semesters in Women in Business and Treasurer for Beta Alpha Psi. She studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain for the first 2 months of the Spring 2020 semester, an unforgettable international experience. Maggie will miss the Tippie community immensely, and she thanks her friends, peers, faculty, and staff for their influence on her success and fantastic experience over the past 4 years.

Allie Gilchrist

Allie Gilchrist

Allie is a senior accounting major from Norwalk, Iowa who has maintained over a 4.0 GPA while competing on the Iowa Gymnastics team, earning her Academic All-American, Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, and Academic All-Big Ten awards. She was also awarded the 2020 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award and was a three year member of the Iowa Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, serving as Academic Success Chair her senior year. Allie received the Senior Accounting Writing Award twice and a 2022 Faculty Scholar Award. She is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society and was a teaching assistant for Introduction to Financial Management. Allie completed an audit internship at Deloitte last summer. Allie is graduating with University Honors and Honors in her major following completion of an honors research thesis on name, image, and likeness laws. Following graduation, Allie plans to attend the University of Iowa College of Law.

Jaiden Goodman

Jaiden Goodman

Jaiden is a senior studying Marketing, Entrepreneurial Management, and Spanish. After being directly admitted into Tippie, Jaiden began working as a Frank Center consultant and marketer. She is a Dean’s List student, Bega Gamma Sigma member, John & Mary Pappajohn Scholar, and 2021 National Diversity Competition finalist. Jaiden has participated in 5 internships/experiential courses. Her work with businesses from North America, Africa, Europe, and Asia fuels her to pursue a career in international business. Off campus, Jaiden volunteers with the Camanche-DeWitt Coalition nonprofit. Within her 5 years of volunteering, she founded a sub-organization to broaden outreach, was awarded Volunteer of the Year, and was the youngest member voted onto their Executive Board. She would like to thank her family, friends, donors, and mentors who inspire her to use her voice to help others find theirs. Looking ahead, Jaiden will continue to represent Tippie as a CIMBA Italy MBA candidate. 

Emily Hagedorn

Emily Hagedorn

Emily is a fourth-year student from Ankeny, Iowa, and is graduating in May 2022 with majors in Finance and Economics, a minor in French, and an International Business Certificate. She joined the Tippie College of Business in 2018 as the sole Presidential Scholar Direct Admit. Emily served in Undergraduate Student Government all four years at Iowa and held the positions of both Chair and Director of Finance, earning the David L. Grady USG and GPSG Joint Exemplary Service Award. She is grateful for the experiential learning opportunities Tippie opened up to her, including spring 2020 study abroad in Paris, interning in Regulatory Affairs at Evergy, and competing in the national Eller Ethics Case Competition where she and her partner placed in the top 10. Following graduation, Emily will join KPMG as a Tax Associate in Chicago. She is thankful for the friends, family, professors, and mentors who have supported her and is honored to be recognized among Tippie’s Top 21.

Cami Hunter

Cami Hunter

Cami is a Senior from Bettendorf, Iowa studying both Business Management and Ethics & Public Policy with a Minor in Philosophy. Cami will graduate in May with University Honors and High Distinction. During her time in Tippie, Cami has been a member of the Tippie Business Honor Society and has served as a consistent leader within Women in Business. Cami has served as the Sustainability Chair, Vice President, and President of Women in Business. Cami has used her leadership platform to prioritize conversations regarding how Women in Business can operate in a more accessible and inclusive way and find ways to break down the common barriers that all women face when entering the professional world. In addition to her leadership experiences, Cami has explored her interest in nonprofit leadership during her time at Tippie by volunteering for the Iowa Women's Foundation, a local nonprofit organization that advances the economic self-sufficiency of women. After graduation, Cami will pursue a legal education to further strengthen her advocacy and negotiation skills.

Sangyub Kim

Sangyub (David) Kim

Sangyub is a Senior majoring in Finance. He is currently a senator in the Tippie Senate, brother of Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity, elected board member of the Global Engagement Student Advisory Board, and member of Tippie International Buddies. Outside of activities in Tippie, David serves as an International Student Ambassador and member of the Korean Conversational Group. Outside of the University of Iowa, he has served in the Republic of Korea Army as a social service agent for two years. During my time at Tippie, David has tried to create an environment where students will be able to learn from new cultures and make every student in Tippie feel comfortable.

Meghan Maleri

Meghan Maleri

Meghan is a junior from Highlands Ranch, Colorado majoring in Finance and Economics with an International Business Certificate. She is passionate about global programs within Tippie where she serves as a Global Ambassador, a Tippie Buddies group leader, and an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi and the Hawkinson Institute. Some of her most impactful experiences include researching as an equity fund analyst for the Krause Fund, serving as a peer educator for the Anne Frank exhibit, “Let Me Be Myself”, assisting as an Honors Teaching Practicum student for the courses Anne Frank and Her Story and Introduction to Financial Management, and interning for Collins Aerospace. She has been recognized as an Honors Fellows Scholar and a Dean’s List student. Meghan is grateful for support from friends, family, and faculty throughout her time at Iowa. She looks forward interning as an Investment Banking Analyst in NYC this Summer.  

Cole Martin

Cole Martin

Cole is a senior studying Accounting and Business Analytics & Information Systems. Throughout his four years in the Tippie College of Business, he has served as the Director of Diversity and Initiatives, Director of Alumni Relations, and President of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, as well as the Activities Associate and Programs Director for Tippie Students for Service. Outside of his involvement in student organizations, he is a member of the University Honors Program and has been exposed to real-world application of his majors through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and the BAIS Capstone course. In the summer of 2021, he also completed an internship at PwC where he plans to work full-time as an Assurance Associate in Minneapolis following graduation. Cole is grateful for the friends, family, and professors who have helped shape his college experience, and is honored to be recognized for this award.

Isabel Martinez

Isabel Martinez

Isabel is a third year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and a minor in Social Justice. She has been a Student Mentor for BizEdge for almost two years. Through BizEdge, she’s had the opportunity to be a role model for four students. In her second year Isabel became a Resident Assistant, where she was tasked to maintain an inclusive atmosphere between students of different backgrounds. She has also been the Operations Chair for the Multicultural Business Student Association for almost two years, in which she has helped create an atmosphere for professional development for multicultural students. Isabel is also a recipient of the Outstanding Scholar and the Principal Scholar Awards. This summer she will be the DEI Learning & Development Intern at Levi Strauss & Co. Headquarters in San Francisco, California. “All thanks to the skills I have acquired at Tippie."

Lupita Olais

Lupita Olais

Lupita is a senior studying marketing on the management track and pursuing an entrepreneurial management certificate. Throughout her time here at Tippie she has been a part of various organizations that have shaped her into the person she is today. Lupita is part of the Multicultural Business Student Association as the VP of Marketing, a member of Tippie Buddies, a social media intern for Tippie, and served as a Tippie Mentor. Outside of Tippie, she had the opportunity to be a content creator for Her Campus and a volunteer for the Closing Closet during her first two years of college. These experiences have taught her so much about herself and broadened her perspectives. Lupita is honored and thankful to have been recognized for this award alongside my peers. Upon graduation, she will be working for TTI as a field sales and marketing representative in Chicago.

Brandon Parejko

Brandon Parejko

Brandon is a senior graduating in May of 2022 with a BBA in Accounting & Finance and a minor in Sports and Recreation Management. While at Tippie, he was involved as an Ambassador for the Business Student Ambassador Organization, a Tippie Direct Admit Peer Mentor, Director of Corporate Relations for Alpha Kappa Psi, and a member of Beta Alpha Psi. He also took part in experiential learning courses as an analyst for the Applied Equity Valuation course and as a volunteer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance course. While navigating a global pandemic, he was able to participate in a virtual global internship assisting a startup company based in Cameroon, Africa. Brandon was also able to intern as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte where he will be working upon graduation. He is thankful for all the opportunities that Tippie has offered him, and is honored to receive the Tippie Top 21 Award.

Karishma Patel

Karishma Patel

Karishma came to Iowa interested in medicine and business, but quickly discovered a better fit in finance. Hoping to provide mentorship and opportunities for others, she joined the executive team of InvestHer, an organization promoting women in finance, as a freshman. She currently serves as President, where she has significantly enhanced her ability to take initiative and act strategically. To expand the organization, Karishma pitched to companies in Iowa, Chicago, and New York, establishing a foundation for long-term relationships with InvestHer. She is also a scholar in the Hawkinson Institute, where she learns from fellow students and alumni. Skills developed in the Applied Equity Valuation course will allow her to contribute as a commercial banking intern this summer at CIBC in Chicago. Next summer, Karishma will be an investment banking intern at Morgan Stanley in New York City, and she looks forward to continuing in this industry post-graduation.

Stephanie Saxe

Stephanie Saxe

Stephanie is a graduating senior studying Marketing and completing the International Business Certificate. Stephanie has been involved in several student organizations at Tippie. She has been active in Women In Business and Tippie Senate and has served as VP of Marketing for both respective organizations. Additionally, Stephanie was a member of the Marketing Institute, as well as a member of the Business Student Ambassador Organization, and a Peer Mentor for the Direct Admit Seminar. Through each of these experiences and roles, Stephanie has worked alongside others to ideate and execute new ways for students to get involved and engage with the Tippie College of Business. She is forever grateful for everything she has learned through her time at Tippie and for the opportunity of working with so many other talented students.

Hunter Stevens

Hunter Stevens

Hunter is a senior from Bloomington, Illinois studying Business Analytics and Management with a minor in Psychology. During his time here at Tippie, he has had the honor to be a Tippie Peer Mentor, a member of the Business Student Ambassador Organization (BSAO), and a member of Alpha Kappa Psi. He served as the VP of Training and President for BSAO and the Director of Membership for Alpha Kappa Psi. In addition to his student involvement, he completed undergraduate research with Jeffrey Ohlmann and interned with Aldi as a District Manager intern. Outside of Tippie, Hunter has held roles with the Clothing Closet at Iowa as the Closet Manager and the Associate Director and with the Men’s Ultimate team as the Treasurer. After graduation, he will continue to work with Aldi as a District Manager in Peoria, IL.

Andrew Tribbey

Andrew Tribbey

Andrew is a junior from Iowa City majoring in Business Analytics and Finance. During his time at The University of Iowa he has been an active member across multiple organizations, including Hawkeye Marching Band, Tippie International Buddies, and Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. He is also a Tippie Peer Mentor and will be the incoming President of the Business Student Ambassador Organization (BSAO). Andrew is honored to be recognized with this year’s recipients of the Tippie Top 21 Award. He will be a technology risk consulting intern with Ernst & Young this summer in Des Moines. He is thankful for his advisors, friends, and family who have helped him achieve this award. 

Izzie Wilcox

Izzie Wilcox

During her time at the University of Iowa, Izzie has been fortunate enough to receive numerous opportunities that have pushed her to grow as a student and as a professional. She took on her first leadership position her freshman year as the Program Director for Daum Residence Hall and went on to hold 7 student leadership positions during her time thus far at Iowa, including President of the Tippie Business Honor Society. She has also represented the University of Iowa at the Eller Ethics Case Competition, placing runner-up in our region, worked as a research assistant for Dr. David Cooper within the economics department, and helped support my peers as a Communication Consultant within the Tippie College of Business' Frank Business Communication Center. She has recently been chosen as the Student Undergraduate Representative for the School of Art and Art History’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee.

Anna Zinselmeier

Anna Zinselmeier

Anna is double majoring in Marketing and BAIS, with a minor in Communication Studies. During her time in Tippie, she has served as a consultant in the Frank Business Communication Center and Marketing Institute, was a member of the 2021 National Diversity Case Competition team, was a 2020 finalist for the Mary Prappas Ethics Essay contest, and completed an Honors in Marketing research thesis. She is also a member of the Tippie Business Honor Society, Women in Business, and Beta Sigma Gamma International Business Honor Society. During her time at Iowa, she has been active in her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, where she served as Vice President of Programming. She has completed numerous internships including Digital Marketing Intern at Aelieve Digital Marketing, Student Marketing Representative for University Housing and Dining, and Data and Analytics Intern at Strategic America. After graduation, she will be moving to Chicago to work for Accenture within their Technology Development Program.
