Communication Consultants 2022-2023

Zeina Aboushaar is a fourth-year student from Detroit, Michigan double majoring in Finance and Economics with a minor in International Relations. She is president of Amnesty International, an Economics Research Assistant, Peer mentor, BizEdge mentor, and is part of several student organizations. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing, discovering new music, traveling, being around family and friends, and trying out new recipes.

Colin Behr is a junior from Gilberts, IL. He is majoring in Business Analytics & Information Systems and Marketing Analytics, as well as pursuing minors in Computer Science and French. In addition to being a communication consultant, he is Director of Professional Development for the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, as well as the Director of Technology for TippieTech. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, hanging with friends, and listening to music.

Jack Caligiuri is a senior from Des Moines, IA majoring in finance. In addition to serving as a communication consultant, he is on the executive board of Delta Sigma Pi and works at the University of Iowa Hospital. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, golfing, and watching sports.

Drew Jauron is a third-year student from Grimes, Iowa. He is pursuing majors in economics and management, and certificates in sustainability and leadership studies. He is a member of the cheer team at Iowa, and you can find him on the sidelines of almost every Hawkeye sporting event throughout the year. Drew is also involved in the Tippie Business Honor Society, and in his free time enjoys baking, biking, hiking, and watching movies at FilmScene.  

Emma Kaczynski is a senior from New Berlin, Wisconsin double majoring in Accounting and Finance with a certificate in Risk Management and Insurance. In addition to tutoring at the Frank Center, she is the Recruitment Chair for Phi Gamma Nu and works for University Billing. After graduation, she will be working as an auditor for KPMG in Milwaukee. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hanging out on the lake, and thrifting.

Maria Kircher is a junior from Dubuque, Iowa double majoring in accounting and business analytics. She is the current Vice President of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity and maintains membership in the Accounting Society and Tippie Students for Service. In her free time, she enjoys reading, weightlifting, listening to music, and watching YouTube.  

Katelin Meier is a third-year student from Ankeny, IA. She is pursuing degrees in Accounting and Business Analytics & Information Systems. In addition to working at the Frank Center, she teaches BODYPUMP classes at the REC and is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi. She recently returned from studying abroad in Vienna, Austria for a semester. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, listening to podcasts, and relaxing.

Maddie Pithan is a third-year student from Cedar Rapids, Iowa studying accounting and criminology. In addition to tutoring at the Frank Center, she is involved in Alpha Kappa Psi and Business Student Ambassador Organization. Outside of student organizations, she works in the Procurement Department at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. In her free time, she enjoys baking, gardening, and being around friends and family.

Anusha Rao is a fourth-year student from San Jose, California, studying Business Analytics and Information Systems. She is involved with the Indian Student Alliance and works at the Student Success and Academic Retention Office as a data analyst. In her free time, she enjoys surfing, trying new recipes, and spending time with friends.

Aubrie Robel is a third-year student from Des Moines, IA majoring in marketing management and minoring in psychology. She is involved in Delta Sigma Pi and Tippie Honor Society, serves as the Event Director for Kappa Alpha Theta, and works as a Marketing and Communications Assistant for the Stanley Museum of Art. In her free time, she enjoys art, piano, traveling, and being with friends and family. 

Ethan Ross is a fourth-year student from Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He is pursuing majors in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management with a Leadership Studies certificate. In addition to tutoring at the Frank Center, Ethan is a member of the Global Engagement Student Advisory Board, Alpha Epsilon Pi, and Tippie Buddies. In his free time, he enjoys working out as well as trying to learn how to golf and cook.

Daniela Rybarczyk is a fourth-year from Bettendorf, Iowa double majoring in management on the human resources track and viola performance. Outside of the Frank Center, she is the Lead Desk Clerk at Mayflower Hall, President of Ballet Club, and General Manager of KRUI, the university’s radio station. In her free time, she enjoys watching TV shows, finding new music, and spending time with family.

Izzie Wilcox is a senior studying economics and art history on the pre-law track. She is a part of several student organizations and holds numerous executive board positions inside and outside of the business school. Aside from student organizations, she also works as a university tour guide and performs with an Iowa City improv team.

Professional Consultants

Drue Denmon is a recent graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and this is her first semester working for the Frank Center. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, and trying to find good coffee.

Hajrije Kolimja is an MFA candidate in Fiction at the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Before coming to Iowa City, she completed her MA in Humanities at the University of Chicago, in addition to a Fulbright research/writing grant to Albania. When she's not working on her novel, she's videochatting with her cat, Lady, who lives back home in Chicagoland.
